Sane Trilogy (which looks to have been uncovered by YouTuber ‘ThornsofSerenity’) has brought this classic mascot camaraderie into a whole new light. Ĭrash Bandicoot: Warped and the original Spyro the Dragon also shared demos, and a recent discovery within the new N. Spyro: Year of the Dragon showcased a sneaky snippet of Crash Bash (which wasn’t a Naughty Dog game, per say, but still), and if you knew the correct password, Crash’s one and only party game would allow you a quick taste of the third Spyro adventure. So for example, Crash Team Racing contained a secret demo for Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, while Spyro 2 had a stowaway preview for CTR. These short gameplay trials were unlocked by inputting special codes situated within each game’s respective instruction manual.
